I’m so glad you shared this! Multi hyphenates get accused of being “all over the place” but our work is often grounded by a few themes, and we’re just ever expanding how to express them and ourselves

Yes, society has a way of placing more value on people who are hyper-specialized in one thing. I think a lot of this is tied to how we view labor and attach purpose to working in more conventional spaces that are “realistic” passions. It took awhile for me to find the link between everything I was doing but I wouldn’t have found it if I didn’t experiment with new mediums in fear of looking like a quitter or like you said, being all over the place.
